Cool Collector # Art Files

A week ago I visited the opening of the exposition 'Doovoo, the dark side in full Color' in the Rotterdam based Gallery BTHECITY. A exposition from 'urban artists'  with Suriname and Indonesian roots. Artists Atlynn Vrolijk, Sharon Jane Domping, Brian Elstak and Marvin Pique came together and brainstormed about a collective theme for the exposition. Doovoo it became and it worked out great for all of them!
This cultural explosion of creativity these artists achieved by working together is amazing! Though the works are made by different people they seem to fit very well with eachother, it sort of cummunicates eachother to a whole new level.  It gives a very refreshing and modern look on multi culture in Rotterdam and I recommend everyone who is in Rotterdam to pay a visit to the exposition. For more info about the exposition you can read this review by Kunstbeeld.
