The ever popular Andrej Pejic stars in the ‘Gold Digger’ editorial for the April 2011 issue of Dazed & Confused. Photographed by Anthony Maule.
Really love the subtle colors and the sharp-edged shapes, just absolutely beautiful and very Dazed & Confused!

On notcot.org a article about  Petite Lap Giraffes! Petite Lap giraffes is a hoax about a Russian farm that pretends to breed this litlle creatures! Very creepy, I had to watch two times before I figured out it was a hoax! To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if this kind of creations are really possible within twenty maybe thirty years! I'm on the twentythousandsomething place on the waiting  list so we shall see! For now you can watch the little creatures on this site, they also stream a webcam that gives a peek in their residence, I watched about three minutes but couldn't see any Petite Lap Giraffes as I was expecting! But maybe you have more luck!

Just saw this editorial ‘The Mercenary’ on Touchpuppet.com shot by Baldovino Barani , I believe it's shot before the whole Japan and Libya situation. The images seem very familiar with what we see on the news lately!Don't really know what to think about it, it impresses me and makes me a little sad!

Worried about your picture showing up on Google Streetview? Sick of photos of yourself appearing on sites like Facebook? Here`s the solution!
The full face mask Pixelhead by Martin Backes acts as media camouflage, completely shielding the head to ensure that your face is not recognizable on photographs taken in public places without securing permission. A simple piece of fabric creates a little piece of anonymity for the Internet age. The material used is stretch satin with a fashionable Pixel-style print of German Secretary of the Interior Thomas de Maizière. The mask has two holes for your eyes, so you can see and breathe comfortably while wearing the mask, secure in the knowledge that your image won’t be showing up anywhere you don’t want it to.

Really love the idea and new word: media camouflage, sensing a trendword here!

A week ago I visited the opening of the exposition 'Doovoo, the dark side in full Color' in the Rotterdam based Gallery BTHECITY. A exposition from 'urban artists'  with Suriname and Indonesian roots. Artists Atlynn Vrolijk, Sharon Jane Domping, Brian Elstak and Marvin Pique came together and brainstormed about a collective theme for the exposition. Doovoo it became and it worked out great for all of them!
This cultural explosion of creativity these artists achieved by working together is amazing! Though the works are made by different people they seem to fit very well with eachother, it sort of cummunicates eachother to a whole new level.  It gives a very refreshing and modern look on multi culture in Rotterdam and I recommend everyone who is in Rotterdam to pay a visit to the exposition. For more info about the exposition you can read this review by Kunstbeeld.

The situation in Japan is a situation so horrible and so gigantic it's hard to believe this is really happening in our world today! It really touches me to see artists from all over the world trying to raise money and awareness for Japan by there art or other original projects.

To start with this collection of graphic posters made by several designers and brought together on Trendland. Amazing how well the design of the Japanese flag works in creative translations!

Lady Gaga also tries to put effort in the situation by selling these boring bracelets on her website, would have suspected something cooler, but all bits are helping.

One of my favorite bloggers Miss Cakehead, organized Cakes for Japan. Together with several pastry artists she created a huge amount of lovely cakes and cookies in a Japanese theme to sell for Japan! She sold out within just a few hours and baked Japan two-thousand pounds richer. So respect for Miss Cakehead!

Say hello to my new object of affection! Celluon has invented a new type of mouse that reads simple finger movements as mousing commands. The evoMouse sits on any flat surface and lets your finger act like a mouse, as if you were using a big touchpad. You can tap to click, make a weird gesture to right click, and even use a variety of fancy multitouch gestures. Just watch the video and enjoy the thought of having this lovely creature on your desk next year! It's so handy and cute!

Strongly inspired by pop culture, Finnish artist Jiri Geller defines himself as “an outsider, a punk rocker”. Geller is also an artist who has both managed to stay close to Finnish aesthetic strengths and traditions and also detonate his own unique brand of post-national, mind-fucker nihilism. It's not revolutionary but it looks very beautiful to me because I'm a sucker for shiny pop-art, and so many with me!
