How cool are these fashiondolls! For the celebration of the first Louis Vuitton Maison store in London these little dolls are styled by Katie Grand and photographed by David Hughes. The dolls posed in the most famous and iconic outfits in the history of Louis Vuitton. As far as I know now they are only made for the pictures, personally I hope the dolls will be in store too! It’s quite historic actually! Sending puppets with miniature outfits of the collection was during the Renaissance the way to show and advertise clothing for fashion designers. The birth of the ‘fashiondoll’or in dutch ‘modepop’.
