Believe it or not, but in London’s Regents Park you can buy ice cream especially made for dogs. Since a week or two the worlds first ice cream trucks, the K99 opened it’s business. It’s a initiative by ‘the Boomerang Pets Party’ and is a concept to raise money for charity. . The proceeds raised from this charitable ice cream truck will go towards funding the Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs, a volunteer group assisting search and rescue teams.

The two flavors that are to be served from the ice cream truck are ‘dog eat hog world’ – gammon and chicken sorbet topped with a doggy biscuit and wrapped in a cone – and ‘canine cookie crunch’ – an assortment of various dog biscuits and ice cream flavors. The group claims that a team of scientists conducted research to achieve the perfect recipe of ice cream for dogs through investigating the optimal balance of temperature, texture, and taste.

I don’t have a dog and don’t know much about this species but I wonder if dogs like their sweets so cold! I’m also really curious about which melody this truck uses to attract the dogs! Anyhow I do believe this is a clever and potential idea!
