Alive shoes: Eco friendly artworks for your feet!

These are Alive shoes, after studying their site I must admit it’s a really modern concept. Alive shoes are eco-friendly and give life to several art installations. Artists are using ALIVESHOES in their projects, these artists are challenging the material source and allowing it to evolve into a new expression - from a simple shoe to an element of artwork, providing each shoe with a glimmering reflection of that moment. Artists have used a specific number of ALIVESHOES in the creation of each work of art. Each ALIVESHOE is given a unique identification number, and a copy of the artist's original sketch is stitched inside the tongue of each shoe. When the artist has completed their work, the installation is deconstructed and each unique ALIVESHOE can be purchased here on their site. Besides being very artsty these shoes are also very eco friendly, they even get painted by hand, so no paint gets wasted! Even paying is very trendy, you have to pay 150 euro but you can choose how much extra you want to pay for the ‘art value’. This extra money will be used to invest in more projects like this. They also made a manifesto with the ideals they have as a company.
