Rainbow Monkey’s Islands

Dit is het nieuwe werk van ‘rainbow monkey’, een duitse Kunstenaar die veel grafische 3d-bouwwerken maakt. Dit project, Islands, loopt nog en is dus nog niet af. Toch vind ik het nu al leuk, hij creëert zijn eigen miniatuur wereldjes, een soort Madurodam fantasy, misschien niet bijster origineel maar je wordt er wel vrolijk van! Zelf omschrijft hij zijn concept als: ‘Islands is a series of sculptures showing miniature snapshots of life. Isolated pieces of land, that look like they were wrenched from the earth by some force of nature, are floating through nowhere. All that is left is a random group of living beings who do their best to survive.’Zijn andere werk is ook best de moeite waard, klik hier en enjoy!
